Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Foundation Year 2 Doctor to join our medical team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop clinical skills within a supportive environment, contributing to patient care across a variety of specialties. Responsibilities

Assist in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients under supervision
Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans accurately
Support senior doctors in emergency situations and routine procedures
Contribute to patient safety initiatives and adhere to clinical governance standards
Engage in teaching and training activities for junior staff and medical students where appropriate
Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, families, and colleagues

Requirements

Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a valid UK medical licence
Completion of Foundation Year 1 or equivalent experience in a recognised healthcare setting
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education principles is advantageous for roles involving paediatric care
Experience or interest in behaviour management strategies relevant to patient care or teaching roles is desirable
Proven ability to teach and support junior colleagues or students is preferred
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to fast-paced environments
