Compensation:

The compensation range listed is required for posting purposes and is not reflective of a fixed pay structure. As this is the first Registered Physiotherapist position within our clinic, compensation and pay structure will be discussed collaboratively with the successful candidate based on experience, qualifications, scheduling preferences, and preferred employment arrangement. We are open to creating a structure that is mutually beneficial and supports long-term growth within the clinic.

Longevity Nexum is expanding our Kinesiology services to include physiotherapy! We are looking for our first physiotherapist to join our team and help us offer a wider range of services to Barrie residents!

The successful applicant must be competent in exercise prescription and align with our core value — that exercise is medicine.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and work with our Kinesiologists to develop tailored treatment plans.
Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to improve and optimize function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with patients’ allied health teams to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Uphold high standards of patient safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols throughout all procedures.

Requirements

Valid license or certification as a licensed Physiotherapist in Ontario.
Prior exercise experience, personal training qualifications, and/or ongoing involvement in fitness.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and current physiotherapy practices.
Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient care with excellent communication skills.
Experience working with diverse adult populations — from acute care to chronic disease management.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
