ABOUT REDIAL CLINIC

Redial Clinic (Reversing Diabetes with Lifestyle Management) is one of India's

pioneering physician-led centers exclusively focused on reversing chronic

metabolic diseases rather than merely managing them. Founded by Dr. Gagandeep

Singh, the clinic has successfully helped over 1,000 patients reverse Type 2

diabetes, hypertension, obesity, PCOS, high cholesterol, and fatty liver

through evidence-based lifestyle interventions.

Our approach is fundamentally different: we treat the root cause, not just

symptoms. Through personalized, one-on-one care combining physician-led medical

supervision, customized nutrition plans, resistance training protocols, and

comprehensive lifestyle modification, we help patients reduce—and often

eliminate—long-term dependency on medications. Our mission is to impact over

1 lakh patients by 2026 through our holistic diabetes reversal initiative.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate, patient-centric Doctor to join our growing team

at Redial Clinic. This role is central to our mission of disease reversal

through lifestyle medicine. The successful candidate will serve as the primary

medical point of contact for patients throughout their reversal journey, from

initial counseling consultation through to achieving and maintaining disease

reversal outcomes.

This is not a traditional clinical role focused on prescribing medications.

Instead, you will be leading integrated, multidisciplinary patient care

programs, working collaboratively with nutritionists, fitness experts, and

lifestyle coaches to achieve measurable reversal of metabolic disorders. You

will be responsible for patient counseling, medical assessments, treatment

plan development, ongoing monitoring, medication tapering under supervision,

and ensuring patients achieve sustainable health transformations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PATIENT COUNSELING & INITIAL CONSULTATION

Step 1: First Point of Contact

- Conduct initial counseling sessions for all new patients as their first

interaction with Redial Clinic

- Build rapport and trust by understanding patient concerns, medical history,

lifestyle patterns, and health goals

- Educate patients about the disease reversal philosophy and how it differs

from conventiona disease management

Step 2: Assessment & Evaluation

- Perform comprehensive medical assessments including review of existing

medical records, current medications, lab reports, and comorbidities

- Evaluate patient's readiness and motivation for lifestyle transformation

- Identify root causes contributing to metabolic dysfunction (insulin

resistance, hormonal imbalances, dietary patterns, stress, sleep quality,

sedentary lifestyle)

Step 3: Setting Expectations

- Clearly communicate the reversal program structure, timeline, expected

outcomes, and patient responsibilities

- Address patient questions, concerns, and misconceptions about disease

reversal

- Establish realistic, measurable health goals in collaboration with the

patient

2. LEADING INTEGRATED PATIENT JOURNEYS

Step 1: Personalized Treatment Plan Development

- Design individualized, evidence-based treatment protocols for each patient

based on their specific condition (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, PCOS,

cholesterol issues)

- Create customized intervention strategies incorporating:

* Low-carb, high-protein nutrition plans (in collaboration with

nutritionists)

* Resistance training and exercise protocols (in collaboration with fitness

experts)

* Insulin control strategies

* Sleep optimization

* Gut health restoration

* Stress management techniques

- Plan medication tapering schedules under medical supervision as patients

progress

Step 2: Multidisciplinary Team Coordination

- Function as the medical leader coordinating care across diet experts,

fitness trainers, and lifestyle coaches

- Conduct regular team meetings to review patient progress and adjust

interventions

- Ensure all team members are aligned on patient goals and treatment approach

- Facilitate seamless communication between specialists to provide holistic

care

Step 3: Continuous Patient Monitoring

- Schedule and conduct regular follow-up consultations (weekly, bi-weekly, or

monthly based on patient needs)

- Track and analyze key health metrics: blood sugar levels, HbA1c, blood

pressure, lipid profiles, weight, body composition, and other relevant

biomarkers

- Monitor medication adjustments and assess for any adverse effects

- Document patient progress comprehensively in medical records

Step 4: Intervention Adjustments

- Analyze patient data to identify what's working and what requires

modification

- Make evidence-based adjustments to treatment plans based on patient response

- Address barriers to adherence through problem-solving and motivational

counseling

- Escalate complex cases to Dr. Gagandeep Singh for guidance when needed

3. ACHIEVING DISEASE REVERSAL OUTCOMES

Step 1: Clinical Goal Achievement

- Work systematically with patients to achieve measurable reversal markers:

* Normalization of blood sugar levels (HbA1c < 6.5% without diabetes

medications)

* Blood pressure control (< 140/90 mmHg without antihypertensive

medications)

* Healthy weight achievement and maintenance

* Normalization of cholesterol and triglyceride levels

* PCOS symptom resolution (regular menstrual cycles, hormonal balance)

Step 2: Medication Reduction/Elimination

- Safely taper medications as metabolic markers improve, under continuous

monitoring

- Educate patients on the process and importance of gradual medication

reduction

- Coordinate with referring physicians when applicable

Step 3: Sustainable Lifestyle Transformation

- Ensure patients develop lasting healthy habits that extend beyond the formal

program

- Provide ongoing education about maintaining reversal outcomes

- Build patient confidence in self-management

4. PATIENT EDUCATION & EMPOWERMENT

- Educate patients on the science of metabolic disease, insulin resistance,

and the principles of lifestyle medicine

- Provide clear, actionable guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress

management

- Use evidence-based communication techniques to motivate behavior change

- Create educational materials or deliver group workshops when required

5. MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS & ONGOING CARE

- Conduct thorough medical consultations addressing patient concerns and

health queries

- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the reversal journey

- Maintain high standards of medical ethics and professionalism

- Ensure patient safety and well-being remain the top priority

6. DOCUMENTATION & COMPLIANCE

- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records for all patient interactions

- Ensure compliance with medical regulations and clinic protocols

- Document patient outcomes for quality improvement and research purposes

- Contribute to case studies and success story documentation

7. CONTINUOUS LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

- Stay updated on latest research in lifestyle medicine, metabolic health, and

disease reversal

- Participate in training programs and clinical meetings led by Dr. Gagandeep

Singh

- Contribute ideas for improving patient outcomes and clinic protocols

- Engage in peer learning and knowledge sharing within the team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

MANDATORY EDUCATION:

- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution (Essential & Non-negotiable)

- Valid medical registration with Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective

State Medical Council

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (freshers with strong

interest in lifestyle medicine may be considered)

- Prior experience in managing diabetes, hypertension, obesity, or metabolic

disorders is highly desirable

- Experience in patient counseling and lifestyle modification programs is a

strong plus

DESIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

MEDICAL & CLINICAL SKILLS:

- Strong understanding of metabolic diseases: diabetes (Type 2), hypertension,

obesity, PCOS, dyslipidemia, fatty liver

- Knowledge of insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and their reversal

through lifestyle interventions

- Ability to interpret lab reports, assess clinical data, and make

evidence-based treatment decisions

- Understanding of safe medication tapering protocols under medical supervision

- Familiarity with low-carb nutrition, ketogenic diets, intermittent fasting,

and their therapeutic applications

COMMUNICATION & COUNSELING SKILLS:

- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex medical

concepts in simple, relatable terms

- Strong counseling abilities to motivate and inspire patients through their

- Active listening skills to understand patient concerns, barriers, and

- Analytical thinking to assess patient data and adjust treatment plans
