Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated practitioner to join our team in Enniscorthy Medical Centre and Whitemill Medical Centre as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner specialising in Chronic Disease Management. This is an autonomous, patient-focused role where the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering advanced care as well as supporting the work of the GP and providing the utmost medical care to the patients while ensuring that all treatments are carried out as professionally and accurately as possible. The work of the Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner will include nursing care for the practice population, management of long term condition caseloads as well as screening services, immunisation services along with the delivery of the Chronic Disease Management Programme.
The successful candidate must show strong clinical skills as well as interpersonal abilities, adaptability and the capacity for problem solving and critical thinking.
Hours of operation 9am - 6pm. Days of operation Monday - Friday. This position will be THREE-FOUR DAYS per week on a permanent part-time basis of 28-32 hours and some additional hours may be available throughout to cover annual leave etc. This position is currently available. Salary pro rata €66,560 per annum.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate must have fully completed their nursing degree as well as the relevant MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice and must show a demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development. The successful candidate must be officially recognised as a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner and listed on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register of nurses and midwives in the relevant division.
