Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients by assessing their health status, developing and implementing care plans, and continuously monitoring their progress using clinical skills and judgment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols to promote patient safety and effective recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records accurately and timely to maintain comprehensive patient information and facilitate continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and protocols that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with nursing practices and healthcare advancements.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in pediatric nursing.
- Spanish nationality (mandatory requirement).
- Valid nursing license (home country and/or local licensing authority as applicable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in hospital or pediatric clinic settings.
- BLS/ACLS or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Ability to work flexible shifts if required.
