As a junior consultant radiologist, you will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through the interpretation of medical imaging.
In this position, you will work closely with a team of experienced radiologists and healthcare professionals, receiving mentorship while contributing to high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include conducting imaging assessments, generating diagnostic reports, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret medical imaging studies across a variety of modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasoundsPrepare and deliver clear and detailed imaging reports to assist in patient diagnosis and treatmentCollaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient careParticipate in continuous learning and professional development in radiology practicesEnsure compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines in all proceduresContribute to departmental meetings, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives
Requirements
Medical degree specializing in radiologyCompletion of a residency program in radiologyPrior experience in interpreting imaging studies (internships or clinical experience preferred)Solid understanding of anatomical, pathological, and imaging principlesProficiency in various imaging techniques, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasoundStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills for collaboration with a multidisciplinary teamMotivation to learn and grow within a government healthcare settingCommitment to patient safety and adherence to quality standardsKnowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations
