About The Opportunity
Healthcare services — Secondary/Tertiary Care Hospital sector serving Sangli and surrounding regions in Maharashtra. We deliver end-to-end inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care with a focus on operational excellence, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Primary title: Hospital Administrator (top-performing standardized title on LinkedIn for this role). On-site position based in Sangli, Maharashtra.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day hospital operations across clinical, administrative, and support functions to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
- Manage financial performance including budgeting, cost control, revenue cycle oversight, billing, and procurement to meet operational targets.
- Drive quality improvement and compliance programs—implement and maintain NABH/clinical governance standards, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.
- Oversee human resources for clinical and non-clinical teams: recruitment, rostering, performance management, and training to sustain service delivery.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, incident management, and operational audits; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
- Liaise with external stakeholders—local health authorities, insurers, vendors, and community partners—to strengthen partnerships and regulatory alignment.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Medical degree with relevant management qualification.
- Proven hospital operations experience with demonstrated ownership of multi-department workflows and service delivery.
- Hands-on experience with NABH accreditation processes and healthcare regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated financial management capability: budgeting, P&L oversight, and revenue cycle management.
- Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) / Hospital Information Systems and operational reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management including coordination with government bodies, insurers, and vendor management.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Hospital Administration or MBA (Healthcare Management).
- Prior leadership experience in multi-speciality or tertiary care hospitals within semi-urban settings.
- Certification in healthcare quality or accreditation (e.g., NABH assessor, ISO healthcare).
