Orthopedic Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
Manage fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases
Perform orthopedic procedures (minor/major as per scope of practice)
Prescribe medications, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation plans
Interpret X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and other diagnostic tests
Educate patients on injury prevention and recovery
Maintain accurate medical records and reports
Collaborate with physiotherapists and other specialists
Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and safety standards

Required Qualifications

MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopedics or equivalent
Valid medical license (DHA/DOH/MOH or eligibility)
2–5 years of relevant orthopedic experience preferred

Expertise in fracture management and joint disorders
Procedural and surgical assistance skills
Knowledge of orthopedic imaging and interpretation
Excellent patient communication and counseling skills
Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
Good documentation and EMR proficiency
Time management and decision-making skills
