Description
We are seeking a dedicated specialist radiologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies to provide accurate and timely diagnoses. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals and play a crucial part in optimizing patient care while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analyses and interpretations of imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Provide clear and concise communication of imaging results to referring physicians and relevant healthcare staff.
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and partake in optimizing treatment plans.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and implement best practices in radiology.
- Support the development of departmental protocols and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior radiologists and radiology personnel.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to remain at the forefront of radiology advancements.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Board certification in radiology is required.
- A valid medical license with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) approval.
- At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience in a radiology practice.
- Expertise in interpreting a range of imaging modalities and understanding radiological principles.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data assessment.
