The Opportunity
This mid-sized, state-of-the-art home has been designed to deliver person-centred care in a warm, modern environment. As Director of Nursing, you will:
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team
- Oversee clinical governance and ensure HIQA compliance
- Drive a culture of quality, dignity, and continuous improvement
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community
You will be supported by a progressive senior management team who value collaboration, innovation, and high standards of care.
About You
You are a confident and compassionate leader who thrives in building teams and shaping services.
- Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior nursing management role
- Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance quality with operational excellence
