About the RoleWe are seeking qualified and motivated faculty members for the Department of Pharmaceutics. The candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and academic administration as per the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) norms, ensuring high standards of education and professional development of students.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic· Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Pharmaceutics and related subjects as per B.Pharm and M.Pharm curriculum.
· Guide students in laboratory work, seminars, projects, and dissertations.
· Develop innovative teaching-learning methods including use of ICT tools.
· Mentor students for academic, research, and career growth.
Research & Publications· Undertake independent and collaborative research in Pharmaceutics and allied areas.
· Publish research papers in peer-reviewed, indexed journals.
· Guide B.Pharm and M.Pharm dissertations; co-guide/guide Ph.D. scholars (for eligible faculty as per norms).
· Apply for funded research projects and contribute to the institute’s research ecosystem.
Administration & Professional Development· Contribute to departmental activities including curriculum development, examinations, and academic planning.
· Participate in accreditation and quality assurance processes (PCI, NBA, NAAC).
· Engage in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences.
· Maintain active membership in professional bodies (e.g., APTI, IPA).
Eligibility & Qualifications (as per PCI norms)Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics):· First Class B.Pharm with M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics (or equivalent specialization).
· Desirable: Teaching/research/industry experience, publications in reputed journals.
Associate Professor (Pharmaceutics):· First Class B.Pharm with M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics (or equivalent specialization).
· Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics (mandatory).
· Minimum 5 years teaching/research/industry experience out of which at least 2 years should be post-Ph.D. experience.
· Consistent record of research publications in indexed journals and contributions to academic development.
