Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate reporting of diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, etc.)
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Record and analyze test results accurately
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for timely reporting
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or related field
- Valid certification
- Proven experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated lab equipment
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS)
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
