Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Housekeeping Associate located in Shimla. The Housekeeping Associate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public spaces, and other hotel areas. Routine tasks include changing linens, restocking supplies, cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, ensuring hygiene standards, and addressing guest requests promptly to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for all guests. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing the highest standards of hospitality.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, housekeeping procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment and materials
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards, with the ability to maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and effectively communicate with guests and staff
- Customer service orientation and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic hospitality setting, with variable schedules as needed
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an advantage but not mandatory
