Position Overview VR Industries is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of pesticides and fertilizer products manufactured at our facility. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on laboratory experience, and a solid academic background in Chemistry with relevant industry exposure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform routine quality testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products related to pesticides and fertilizers. 2. Conduct chemical analysis using laboratory instruments and standard testing procedures. 3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality protocols, and regulatory guidelines. 4. Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation. 5. Monitor batch quality and report deviations or non-conformities to the Quality Control Manager. 6. Assist in calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment. 7. Coordinate with production and R&D teams to maintain consistent product quality. 8. Follow safety protocols and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) at all times. 9. Support internal and external quality audits when required.
Required Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic / Analytical / Industrial Chemistry preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Quality Control department of a pesticides, agrochemical, or fertilizer manufacturing company. Strong understanding of chemical testing methods, formulations, and quality standards. Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques. Knowledge of safety standards, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance. Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in agrochemical formulation testing. Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems. Ability to troubleshoot quality-related issues efficiently. Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
