Lab Technician – Networking Cell

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi devices.
- Monitor internet connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues in labs and offices.
- Assist in setting up networking equipment for classrooms, laboratories, seminars, and university events.
- Maintain networking labs and ensure all systems are functional and updated.
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance of computers and peripherals.
- Support faculty, staff, and students in resolving basic IT and networking issues.
- Maintain inventory records of networking equipment, cables, systems, and accessories.
- Ensure proper cable management and network security practices.
- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for repairs and technical support when required.
- Prepare maintenance reports and document technical issues and resolutions.
- Assist in data backup and system recovery processes.
- Ensure compliance with institutional IT policies and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in: Computer Science / Information Technology (IT).
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
