About the Role:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician (Histopathology) to support diagnostic services by processing tissue samples, preparing slides, and assisting pathologists in accurate reporting. The candidate must ensure precision, quality control, and adherence to laboratory safety and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, label, and process tissue and biopsy specimens.
Perform grossing assistance, tissue processing, embedding, section cutting (microtomy), and staining (H&E, special stains).
Prepare and maintain paraffin blocks and histopathology slides.
Operate and maintain histopathology equipment such as tissue processors, microtomes, cryostats, and staining machines.
Ensure proper fixation, storage, and disposal of specimens as per protocols.
Maintain quality control, documentation, and records as per laboratory standards.
Follow infection control, biomedical waste, and laboratory safety guidelines.
Coordinate with pathologists for case handling and timely reporting.
Maintain laboratory inventory, reagents, and consumables.
Qualifications:
DMLT or B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
Specialized training or hands-on experience in Histopathology is mandatory.
Registration with the relevant paramedical council (if applicable).
Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in Histopathology preferred.
Candidates with strong hands-on skills in histopathology techniques will be given preference.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
