JOB DESCRIPTION – Biotechnology Technician
Qualifications: BSc. /BE/BTech in Biotechnology or M.Sc. Biochemistry/Analytical chemistry/Environmental Science/Life sciences.
1. Routine laboratory analysis
a. The analysis of the biomass properties, like biochemical composition, physical properties etc. which will be useful to determine maximize Biogas output from different feed stock materials as required. As required, to arrange for testing of parameters from outside lab.
b. To monitor and guide the team of 'Biogas plant Operators' specifically regarding the operations of Biogas production.
c. To implement the process and protocols for daily analysis of the feed and digester in the laboratory like TS VS, Digestibility, gas analysis etc.
d. Designing and development of experimental set-up for daily/routine analysis of different parameters essential to optimize biogas production process.
2. Participation in operations
a. To participate in operation of new development in the anaerobic digestion units like lab-scale or pilot scale digesters and set-up.
b. To set up the ‘Site Lab' at different commercial sites and assist in the training and initial operations at the site.
c. Assistance in procurement of laboratory infrastructure and development of laboratory procedures at commercial sites.
d. To maintain the database of experiments with pre-decided interval and submit the data report to authorities.
3. To attend the responsibilities as suggested by the Company Authorities, as per the Companies Objectives.
4. Compliance to Safety Norms and operational ethics.
5. Any other responsibility entrusted by the management from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Laboratory Technician (At commercial Biogas plants)
1. Routine analysis of the biogas plant components and parameters like biomass, digester, digestate, permeate properties etc,
2. To implement the process and protocols for daily analysis of the feed and digester in the laboratory like TS VS, Digestibility, gas analysis etc.
3. Routine maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure and procurement of the laboratory consumables in coordination with the site and company authorities.
4. To maintain the data in the logbook and online database of daily analysis carried out at site and submit the data report to authorities on daily basis.
5. To attend the responsibilities as suggested by the Company Authorities, as per the Companies Objectives.
6. Compliance to Safety Norms and operational ethics.
7. Any other responsibility entrusted by the management from time to time.
8. Job profile is subject to change as per the requirements of the Company and as per Management decision.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
