Job Summary
2050 Healthcare is looking for a skilled and compassionate Intensivist/ICU Doctor to join our critical care team in Bangalore. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing critically ill patients, including ventilator and emergency ICU cases, while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Independently handle ventilator-supported and critical care cases.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Perform emergency procedures and respond to code blue situations.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ICU documentation.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
- Counsel and communicate effectively with patient families regarding treatment and prognosis.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, or equivalent specialization.
- 4–6 years of ICU/critical care experience as an Intensivist.
- Strong expertise in ventilator management and critical patient monitoring.
- Experience handling medical emergencies and multispecialty ICU cases.
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills
- ACLS/BLS certification preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced life support systems and ICU protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and high-pressure environments.
