Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Doctor of Medicine (DVM) to join our team on-site in Gokak. The professional in this role will oversee livestock healthcare, diagnose and treat illnesses, administer vaccines, and ensure the well-being of animals. Additional responsibilities include providing expert guidance on animal nutrition, collaborating with team members to evaluate feed quality, and educating clients on best practices for livestock health management. This is a hands-on role focused on preserving animal health and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Veterinary Medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for livestock health
- Proficiency in Animal Nutrition and knowledge of feed formulations to support animal well-being
- Ability to conduct Research and Analysis to develop effective healthcare solutions for animals
- Strong Communication and Client Education skills to support and advise livestock owners
- Organizational and Record-Keeping skills to ensure proper documentation of animal care and treatment
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification
- Licensure or certification to practice veterinary medicine in the relevant region
- Experience in livestock healthcare or the agricultural industry is highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site role and within a multidisciplinary team
