We are a busy FHO/FHT family practice seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse to work closely with the physician and medical administrator to support the delivery of safe, timely, efficient, evidence-based patient-centered care.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for visits and support clinical flow through triaging
- Perform prenatal/postnatal assessments, well baby checks, immunizations, PAPs, STI screening, injections, wound care, ear irrigations
- Maintain accurate documentation on PSS and infection control protocols
- Reviewing and communicating investigation results
- Provide patient education and support chronic disease management
Requirements:
- RN/RPN in good standing with the CNO
- Knowledge of PHIPA, PIPEDA, and CNO Practice Standards
- Experience in primary care or community health preferred
- Strong EMR, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to continuous improvement
Compensation:
- Competitive; based on experience
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
