We are seeking a RGN Qualified, Experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team of 5 GP’s, working alongside another Nurse and a Primary Care Assistant with a supportive admin team in a busy practice in Athy, Co. Kildare.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high quality patient care supporting both patients and GP’s.

Key Responsibitilies
· Antenatal i.e. 2 week checks/6 week check ups
· Cervical Check.
· Vaccinations (including travel)
· CDM Screening
· STI Screening
· Phlebotomy.
· Usual practice nurse workload.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Must be a registered nurse with experience of practice nursing.
· Midwifery qualification would be an advantage
· Strong organisational skills and timekeeping.
· Communication skills – ability to accurately relay information.
· Knowledge and working experience of HealthOne and PCRS would be a distinct advantage
· A very high level of discretion and confidentiality
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
