Position Summary The General Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad spectrum of oral and dental conditions primarily through surgical interventions.
The role requires attention to detail, excellent clinical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care within a private healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and diagnostics to determine surgical needs Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for patients Perform various surgical procedures such as extractions, implants, and minor reconstructive surgeries Manage patient care before, during, and after surgery, including postoperative follow-up Educate patients on oral health, surgical procedures, and postoperative care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations Private Health Insurance Training & Development Performance Bonus Degree in Dentistry (DDS or DMD) with specialization or certification in Oral and Dental Surgery Valid dental license and board certification applicable to practice in the private healthcare sector Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oral and Dental Surgeon in a clinical or private healthcare setting Proficiency in a range of general oral and dental surgical procedures Strong communication and patient management skills Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team Commitment to maintaining best practices and pursuing continuing education
