Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care in compliance with HIQA and NMBI standards.
- Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and monitor service users’ health status.
- Accurately document and report any clinical observations, incidents, or changes in condition.
- Support and supervise healthcare assistants and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure infection prevention, health and safety, and best practice compliance at all times.
- Promote dignity, respect, and independence in all care interactions.
Requirements
- Active NMBI PIN and registration
- Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship provided)
- Required clinical vaccinations up to date
- Minimum of 6–12 months of post-registration nursing experience (preferred)
- Full driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
