Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Timmins, New Liskard and Elliot Lake, ON. The Pharmacist will oversee daily operations in the pharmacy, including accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on medication usage, providing health advice, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, the role involves managing inventory, collaborating with healthcare providers, and delivering excellent customer service. The position also provides an opportunity for a sign-on bonus.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid license to practice pharmacy in Ontario
- Proficiency in medication dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care
- Relevant experience in a retail pharmacy environment is an asset
