Head of Clinical Nursing - Radiance Plastic Surgery
Location: Canmore, Alberta
Radiance Plastic Surgery is a surgeon-led premium aesthetics practice in Canmore, Alberta. We've built a reputation across Canada for surgical and non-surgical aesthetic care that's both clinically excellent and genuinely personal. As we grow, we're investing in the team and systems that will carry that standard forward.
This role sits at the intersection of hands-on patient care and clinical leadership. You'll be in clinic seeing patients for consultations, follow-ups, while also taking ownership of how the nursing team operates, develops, and performs. If you're a strong RN who's ready to step into a leadership role without stepping away from the patient side of the work, this is worth reading.
What You’ll Do
On the clinical side, you'll see patients for surgical and non-surgical consultations and follow-ups alongside the nursing team, and manage post-consultation correspondence, including questions, estimates, follow-up care. Experience in the OR and/or PACU is a real asset here, as we operate a non-hospital surgical facility and value nursing staff who are comfortable in a perioperative environment.
On the leadership side, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing team: scheduling, training, technology adoption, and quality of care. You'll be the main point of contact between the nurses and the broader clinical and administrative team, and you'll be responsible for building a department that runs well and feels good to work in.
We use AI tools in our consultation workflow for charting, note generation, transcript analysis, and building procedure-specific scripts, and this role includes developing and improving those systems over time. Comfort with technology is important; prior experience with AI tools is a plus.
Other operational responsibilities include clinic day preparation, clinic inventory management, KPI tracking, coordinating procedure setups, and ensuring each patient has a consistent nursing care throughout their journey.

- Experience in a surgical, aesthetic, or outpatient clinic setting
- Perioperative OR and/or PACU experience is a strong asset
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Comfortable with technology; open to AI-assisted workflows
- Strong communicator with patients and colleagues alike
