Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Bengaluru. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic treatments. The role involves educating patients on oral hygiene, explaining treatment options with transparent communication, and ensuring a patient-first experience aligned with AVMSmiles’ standardized clinical protocols. The dentist will maintain meticulous clinical records, follow documented sterilization and infection control procedures, and comply with all regulatory and company standards. The role also includes collaborating with clinic staff, participating in ongoing training and audits, and contributing to the clinic’s operational efficiency and growth.
Qualifications
- Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree; valid Dental Council of India (DCI) registration and state dental council license for Karnataka.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, preventive dentistry, basic endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization protocols, clinical documentation, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
- Excellent patient communication skills, including the ability to explain procedures, present treatment options, and provide clear post-treatment instructions.
- Comfort working in a process-driven, standardized environment with digital tools (practice management software, digital records, cloud-based systems).
- Ability to collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and front-office teams to ensure smooth clinic operations and a consistent patient experience.
- High ethical standards, patient-first mindset, and willingness to participate in regular training, audits, and performance reviews.
- 1–3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry preferred; recent graduates with strong clinical exposure and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
