The ideal candidate will plan, implement and evaluate patient care programs designed to increase, maintain or restore function, minimize or prevent disability and assist patient in reaching their maximum performance level in a designated home care area.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain established departmental policies & procedures, objectives, quality assurance, accreditation requirements, safety, environmental and infection control standards
- Applies plan of physical therapy treatment program prescribed each patient including: therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, massage, gait training, wheelchair management and chest physiotherapy.
- Follows the medical precautions mentioned by the Physical Medicine Physician for each patient and for each physical therapeutic management.
- Applies prognostic function ability tests such as muscle, joints, pain scale.
- Directs and aids in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education and functional training using pulleys, weights, steps and inclined surfaces, assistive device and wheelchair mobility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy
- Valid DOH /DHA Eligibility or License as Registered Physiotherapist
- Can join immediately
- Female candidates are preferred.
