Mulberry House Clinic is one of Northamptonshire's longest-established, doctor-led aesthetic clinics. Founded in 2003 and based in Great Addington - we have spent more than two decades building a reputation for clinical integrity, natural results, and long-term patient relationships across Northamptonshire and the wider region.
We are entering a significant phase of growth - expanding our medical team, investing in our patient infrastructure, and broadening our advanced injectable and regenerative treatment portfolio. As part of that, we are looking for an Aesthetic Doctor to join us and build a long-term clinical home within an established, premium practice.
The Clinic
Mulberry House operates as a medically-led clinic with a clear focus on:
- Evidence-based, structured treatment planning
- Long-term skin health and collagen regeneration
- Natural, refined aesthetic outcomes
- Ethical patient care and strong clinical governance
Our treatment portfolio includes anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, Sculptra, Radiesse, Gouri, Profhilo, and a full range of advanced combination treatment pathways. We work with Jenna Johnston, our Advanced Skin Therapist, who delivers device and skincare treatments as part of a genuinely integrated patient journey.
The clinic is run by Practice Manager Matthew Chandler and Medical Director Dr John Tanqueray, who has been clinical lead since the clinic's founding. John's depth of experience and willingness to share it are central to what makes this an exceptional environment for clinical development.
The Role
This is a self-employed, percentage-based position - part-time or full-time depending on the right candidate. You will work within an established clinic that provides the premises, patients, bookings, CRM, administration, and marketing - so your focus is entirely on delivering excellent treatments and building lasting patient relationships. For the right candidate, there is genuine scope to develop beyond injectables into device-based treatments, working alongside our Advanced Skin Therapist to deliver a fully integrated patient journey.
You will take on new patients from day one, with a clear pathway to build a substantial and rewarding patient list over time. The clinic's existing patient base, combined with a significant planned investment in marketing and patient communications, means you will not be starting from scratch - you will be joining at the point the business is deliberately growing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality injectable treatments including toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, and collagen stimulators
- Conduct thorough patient consultations with a focus on structured treatment planning and natural results
- Build trusted, long-term patient relationships through excellent communication and clinical care
- Develop and deliver combination treatment pathways as your clinical range grows– Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to established protocols
- Contribute to treatment pathway development and clinic best practice
About You
Essential:
- GMC-registered Medical Doctor
- A genuine interest in aesthetic medicine and a commitment to developing within it - whether you are already practising or transitioning from another area of medicine
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and natural outcomes– Excellent consultation and communication skills
- Based in or able to travel to Northamptonshire
Desirable:
- Experience with skin boosters, polynucleotides, or collagen stimulators
- Interest in regenerative aesthetic medicine
- Experience in a private aesthetic clinic setting
- An existing patient following you would bring to the clinic
What We Offer
- A self-employed, percentage-based arrangement with strong earning potential from day one
- An established patient base and a growing flow of new patients
- Clinical mentorship and collaboration with Dr John Tanqueray - an experienced and respected aesthetic doctor with over two decades at the forefront of the specialty
- A purpose-designed clinical environment at Great Addington Manor - a setting unlike any other clinic in the region
- Full operational support: premises, bookings, CRM, administration, and marketing
- Significant planned investment in marketing and patient growth that will directly benefit your patient list
- Genuine long-term growth potential, with scope to expand into device-based treatments and a full-time role for the right candidate
- A supportive, organised, and professionally run team
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a doctor who wants to build something - not fill a locum slot. The right person is clinically confident, ethically grounded, and genuinely excited about developing a long-term career within a medically-led clinic that takes its reputation seriously. You will be supported to grow, challenged to develop, and rewarded as your patient list builds.
This role may suit an experienced aesthetic doctor seeking a stable, long-term clinical base; a GP or hospital doctor disillusioned with the NHS who is ready to make a committed move into aesthetics; or a clinician relocating to Northamptonshire looking for an established home. Candidates without aesthetic experience but with a clear passion for the field and the right clinical foundation are welcome to apply - training and mentorship will be provided.
How to Apply
Please submit your CV and a brief cover note outlining your injectables experience and what draws you to Mulberry House in particular. We are looking for people who have thought about why this clinic, not just any clinic.
