Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Doctor – Gynecologist role based in Prayagraj. The Senior Gynecologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care, including gynecological assessments, antenatal and postnatal care, and management of high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include performing and supervising gynecological and obstetric procedures, surgeries, and deliveries, in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves reviewing diagnostic reports, creating evidence-based treatment plans, prescribing medications, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. The Senior Gynecologist will also counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, preventive care, and wellness, while mentoring junior doctors and clinical staff. Additional responsibilities include participating in clinical governance, adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, and supporting Medistyk’s health packages, teleconsultations, and corporate wellness initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, including antenatal care, gynecological disorders, infertility workup, and high-risk pregnancy management.
- Proficiency in gynecological and obstetric procedures such as normal and assisted deliveries, cesarean sections, minor and major gynecologic surgeries, and emergency obstetric care.
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills, including interpretation of imaging, laboratory tests, and other investigations relevant to women’s health.
- Excellent patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive, and confidential care.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising clinical teams, mentoring junior doctors, coordinating with nursing and allied health staff, and contributing to protocol development.
- Commitment to clinical quality, adherence to safety standards, infection control practices, and compliance with IMC, NABH, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD/MS/DNB/DGO or equivalent) from a recognized institution; valid medical registration in Uttar Pradesh, India.
