Description
We are seeking a highly skilled interventional radiologist to join our team in Oman. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques to perform diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive procedures. You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes by providing expert interventional radiology services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a diverse range of interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, biopsies, and drainages.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding procedures, potential risks, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in interventional radiology and actively participate in continuing medical education.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in radiology.
- Fellowship training in interventional radiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Oman.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in interventional radiology.
- Proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures and imaging modalities.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
