Position: Health Officer / Nurse
Location: Al-Qadsiah Club, Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Reports to: HSE Lead / Operations Director
Job Overview:
The Health Officer / Nurse is responsible for providing primary healthcare support,
emergency response, and occupational health services across all club facilities, including
stadiums, training grounds, gyms, and administrative offices. The role supports the HSE
Department in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for players, staff, contractors,
and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical & First Aid Services
o Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees, players, and visitors as
required.
o Respond promptly to medical emergencies during training sessions, matches,
and events.
o Assess injuries and illnesses and determine the need for further medical referral
or emergency services.
o Maintain and inspect first aid kits, medical supplies, and emergency equipment.
Occupational Health Support
o Conduct basic health assessments and monitor employee health conditions
where required.
o Assist in implementing occupational health programs and preventive healthcare
initiatives.
o Support return-to-work assessments following illness or injury.
o Monitor workplace health risks and report findings to the HSE Manager.
Emergency Preparedness & Response
o Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
o Coordinate with emergency services during incidents.
o Maintain medical emergency response procedures in line with HSE policies.
Health Compliance & Documentation
o Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with confidentiality and data
protection standards.
o Ensure compliance with local health regulations and club policies.
o Prepare health-related reports for HSE management as required.
Health Awareness & Training
o Conduct basic first aid and health awareness sessions for staff.
o Promote hygiene, infection control, and wellness initiatives within the club.
o Support HSE campaigns related to occupational health and wellbeing.
Infection Control & Hygiene Monitoring
o Monitor hygiene standards in facilities, locker rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
o Support implementation of infection prevention and control measures.
o Advise management on public health best practices during events and large
gatherings.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Valid professional nursing license (as per local regulatory authority requirements).
Minimum 2 5 years of clinical or occupational health experience.
Certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
Experience in sports facilities, industrial sites, or large organizations is an advantage.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards is preferred.
