Job Summary
The Site Nurse will provide medical care and first aid to employees at construction sites, respond to medical emergencies, monitor workers’ health, and ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic medical care for workplace injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
- Assess employees’ health conditions and coordinate hospital referrals when necessary.
- Respond to site accidents and medical emergencies in coordination with the HSE team.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure the site clinic is equipped with essential medical supplies and first-aid equipment.
- Monitor workers’ health and support occupational health awareness initiatives.
- Coordinate with hospitals, ambulance services, and relevant medical providers.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste.
- Support the HSE team in implementing site health and safety procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee medical information.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) nursing license or eligibility, as applicable.
• Previous experience as a Site Nurse in the construction industry.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of first aid, emergency response, and occupational health and safety.
• Strong communication, reporting, and emergency management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a construction site environment.
