Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate, open minded and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The NP will work independently and provide top-tier healthcare services to our patients. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who values efficiency, patient satisfaction, teamwork and who loves to learn and stay on top of new practices and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
Order, interpret and perform diagnostic tests
Provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a timely manner.
Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate.
Educate patients on their health conditions and preventative care.
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
Uphold a high standard of professionalism and patient-centered care.
Provide virtual care for patients in other provinces ( NB and ON)

Qualifications:

Licensed Nurse Practitioner in PEI.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting (preferred but not required).
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
