Key Responsibilities

Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, sputum, and other specimens).
Perform routine laboratory tests in Hematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Serology, and Microbiology.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and analyzers.
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of test results.
Maintain laboratory quality control procedures and standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and biomedical waste management protocols.
Maintain laboratory inventory and monitor reagent stock levels.
Assist doctors and pathologists with diagnostic procedures when required.
Ensure timely delivery of reports to patients and clinicians.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.

Required Qualifications

DMLT / BMLT (Mandatory)
Registration with relevant authority (if applicable)

Skills Required

Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic computer knowledge and laboratory software handling
Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Preferred Experience

1–3 years of experience in a hospital diagnostic laboratory preferred.
