Description
We are actively seeking a consultant pathologist with an Arab Board certification to join our esteemed healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal position, you will apply your advanced expertise to diagnose diseases and provide critical insights that drive patient care decisions. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes through accurate and timely pathology reports.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive examinations of histopathological and cytopathological specimens.
- Prepare and present detailed diagnostic reports and findings to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians and specialists on complex cases to tailor patient treatment plans.
- Engage in quality assurance activities to uphold laboratory standards and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in clinical meetings, educational activities, and mentorship of junior pathology staff.
- Stay updated with advancements in pathology practices and contribute to ongoing education.
Requirements
- MD or DO with Arab Board certification in pathology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in clinical pathology.
- Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of laboratory diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
