Your expertise in interpreting various imaging modalities, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, will enable you to make precise diagnoses and contribute positively to treatment strategies. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be key as you work to improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
- Diagnose and assess abnormalities based on imaging findings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create tailored patient care plans
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate written reports for referring physicians
- Adhere to established quality assurance and safety protocols
- Stay current with developments in radiological techniques and technologies
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialization in radiology and a valid license to practice
- Extensive experience in interpreting a wide range of imaging studies
- Advanced knowledge of radiology principles, techniques, and protocols
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to work independently as well as within a healthcare team
- Familiarity with RIS and PACS is highly desirable
