Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of patient care.Perform and interpret complex imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.Provide expert consultation to referring physicians and contribute to patient treatment planning.Mentor and train junior radiologists and imaging staff to promote professional development.Establish and enforce departmental protocols and participate in quality assurance initiatives.Engage in continuous education and stay abreast of advances in radiology practices and technology.Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance collaboration and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in radiology.Board certification in radiology.Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.A minimum of 7 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with significant leadership experience preferred.Comprehensive knowledge of various imaging modalities and proficient interpretation skills.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage complex clinical situations.
