Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care and adhering to local regulations.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including dosage instructions, potential side effects, and drug interactions
- Perform medication therapy management to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and prescription information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication use and resolve any discrepancies
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and conduct regular quality control checks
- Compound medications when necessary, following established procedures and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations in Qatar
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical advancements and industry trends
- Participate in continuing education programs to maintain licensure and enhance professional knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Qatar
