Job Title: Sports Physiotherapist Hockey Specialist
Qualification
BPT / MPT from a reputed institution (IAP & DCPT recognized)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sports physiotherapy (preferably hockey)
Location: Mohali
Job Purpose
To assess, treat, rehabilitate, and prevent sports injuries in hockey players, ensuring safe return-to-play and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct musculoskeletal and functional assessments of hockey athletes.
- Develop and implement sport-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention programs.
- Manage acute and chronic sports injuries (on-field and clinic-based).
- Provide taping, bracing, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise programs.
- Monitor progress and coordinate with coaches and medical team.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Ensure safe use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
- Adhere to organizational policies, safety, and ethical standards.
Required Skills:
- Strong clinical reasoning and independent decision-making skills.
- Expertise in sports injury management and return-to-play protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in handling physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment.
