Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor based at our Kalol campus. The Medical Doctor will provide high-quality healthcare services to students, staff, and faculty, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, managing medical records, and offering health education. They will collaborate with the university's healthcare team to ensure a healthy campus environment, maintain compliance with medical regulations, and participate in wellness initiatives. Timely medical response to emergencies and proactive health awareness programs will be integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
- Knowledge of medical recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
- Effective communication and patient interaction skills, with an emphasis on empathy and professionalism
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in health promotion programs
- A valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and registration with the relevant medical council
- Experience in general practice or similar healthcare roles; work in academic or institutional settings is an advantage
- BLS/ACLS certification and proficiency in handling medical emergencies
- Commitment to maintaining a healthy and supportive work environment
