We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Pediatric Oncology Nurse to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The Pediatric Oncology Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. This role involves supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, including chemotherapy, supportive care, and recovery, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and emotional support for both patients and their families. Key Responsibilities•Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment in the oncology unit or ward.•Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments, reporting any changes promptly.•Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and other oncology-related medications as prescribed.•Monitor patients for adverse reactions and side effects associated with chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.•Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures and oncology-related interventions.•Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with oncologists and the multidisciplinary medical team.•Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to pediatric patients and their families regarding treatment plans and symptom management.•Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.•Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.•Support patients and families in coping with the physical and emotional challenges associated with pediatric cancer treatment.•Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.•Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric ICU, or Pediatric Nursing in a hospital setting.•Experience in chemotherapy administration and pediatric oncology care is preferred.•Valid nursing license from home country.•Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).•Strong knowledge of pediatric oncology treatments, symptom management, and patient care protocols.•Excellent communication, compassion, and patient-centered care skills.•Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and a high-pressure environment.•Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.•Oncology nursing certification is an advantage.•Experience in tertiary care or internationally accredited hospitals is preferred.•Willing to work in Dubai, UAE.
