We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The NICU Nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill or premature newborns, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and family-centered care. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in neonatal critical care, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).Monitor and assess neonates’ vital signs, neurological status, oxygenation, and overall condition, reporting any significant changes promptly.Operate and monitor advanced neonatal life-support equipment, including ventilators, incubators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and phototherapy devices.Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments as prescribed by neonatologists and pediatricians.Assist physicians during emergency procedures, neonatal resuscitation, and critical interventions.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary neonatal care team.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and healthcare regulations.Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to parents and families regarding the care and development of their newborns.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and continuing professional development programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.Minimum 2 years of recent NICU or neonatal critical care experience in a hospital setting.Valid nursing license from home country.Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).Strong knowledge of neonatal care procedures, ventilators, and critical care equipment.Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure critical care environment.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.Experience in tertiary care or internationally accredited hospitals is an advantage.Willing to work in Dubai, UAE.
