Role Overview
The Junior Ayurvedic Doctor will manage patient intake and pre-consultation, conducting detailed discussions to ensure accurate clinical understanding and a positive first interaction. The role also involves patient follow-up calls to support continuity of care and treatment adherence, while providing structured clinical inputs to the Senior Doctor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-consultation & post consultation calls and in-clinic patient intake
- Collect detailed patient history including symptoms, duration, lifestyle, and routines
- Record vitals and relevant clinical observations
- Document patient information clearly and systematically for senior doctor review
- Assist patients in understanding the consultation process and next steps
- Support follow-up coordination and patient communication
- Act as an accessible point of contact for basic patient queries
Skills & Attributes
- In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic fundamentals and clinical history-taking
- Warm, polite and approachable with sensitivity to patient’s problems - ability to make and hold conversations.
- Strong listening skills and ability to make patients feel comfortable
- Clear spoken communication in simple, patient-friendly language
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
