Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and implement tailored therapeutic interventions to support individuals with mental health, emotional, and developmental challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include working collaboratively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to enhance patients’ functional abilities, monitoring progress, and adapting treatment plans. The role also involves maintaining comprehensive documentation and participating in team meetings to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in evaluating, planning, and providing occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, rehabilitation techniques, and goal-focused therapy planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate, thorough, and confidential records.
- A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid professional license.
- Experience in mental health or developmental disorders settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders, mood disorders, and related conditions is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to cultural contexts and work effectively in a diverse environment.
