Registered General Nurse (RGN) – Community Care
Location: Dundalk & Drogheda
RL Management & Consulting Agency are recruiting Registered General Nurses (RGNs) on behalf of our client to join a dedicated community-based care team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality, one-to-one care in the home environment.
Role Overview
You will be providing complex community care, specifically tracheostomy and ventilated care, for clients in the Dundalk and Drogheda areas. This is a nurse-led 24-hour care service with the support of a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA). Comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care to clients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs.
- Work collaboratively with HCAs and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure care plans are followed and updated as required.
- Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for clients in their homes.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation in line with professional standards.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration.
- Full driving licence and access to a car (or ability to access work reliably).
- Previous experience in tracheostomy or ventilated care desirable, but full training provided.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
- Compassionate, professional, and reliable.
