Role Description
This full-time, on-site role of a Pharmacist is located in Chennai and requires the candidate to ensure safe and effective dispensing of medications in accordance with prescriptions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of medicines, monitoring inventory levels, advising patients on medication usage and side effects, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting the healthcare team to provide seamless patient care. This role requires strict attention to detail and adherence to medical and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Proficient in pharmacist responsibilities including drug dispensing, inventory management, and record-keeping
- Sound knowledge of medications, dosages, potential side effects, and pharmaceutical protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to counsel patients effectively
- Proficiency in maintaining compliance with medical, legal, and ethical standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, and a valid pharmacist license in India
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
