We're looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in all over Canada. In this role, you'll be a key member of our collaborative healthcare team, providing comprehensive and continuous care to a diverse patient population. You'll work autonomously while consulting physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care. Work Location: In -person in Edmonton
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and health history evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to meet the needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment.
- Provide pain management strategies for patients experiencing chronic pain or discomfort.
- Perform laboratory tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide dementia care support for patients with cognitive impairments.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in the relevant specialty area.
- Experience in senior care settings is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in medication administration and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong skills in phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to diagnose conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide medication management and ensure safe and effective prescribing practices.
- Monitor patient progress, assess treatment outcomes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Offer empathetic support and guidance to patients managing complex mental health challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
Compensation
- $180,000-240,000 per year for independent contractors under Alberta Nurse Funding Program
- The compensation listed above refers to a yearly rate that may vary depending on a candidate's relevant qualifications, knowledge, competencies and work experience.
