We are hiring a Head of Physiotherapy for our Rehabilitation Hospital in Bengaluru.
The ideal candidate will lead the physiotherapy department, ensure excellent patient recovery outcomes, manage multidisciplinary rehab teams, and drive operational excellence across IPD, OPD, and homecare services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead physiotherapy treatment planning for neuro, ortho, post-surgical, and long-term rehabilitation patients
• Develop individualized care plans with measurable recovery goals
• Supervise complex therapy cases and ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Manage physiotherapists, assistant therapists, and rehab staff
• Conduct regular training, case discussions, and performance reviews
• Plan duty rosters and ensure smooth staffing across hospital and homecare services
• Oversee daily department operations and optimal use of therapy equipment
• Improve revenue through therapy packages, sessions, and rehab programs
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and case managers for holistic patient care
• Ensure excellent patient experience, counselling, and issue resolution
• Maintain NABH standards, SOPs, audit readiness, and quality benchmarks
• Identify opportunities for homecare physiotherapy and corporate tie-ups
Eligibility:
• Master’s in Physiotherapy (MPT) mandatory
• 3-7 years of physiotherapy experience
• Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership or team handling role
• Strong exposure to neuro or ortho rehabilitation preferred
• Strong team management, communication, and decision making skills
