Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Duty Doctor to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for providing continuous medical care to pediatric patients, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and coordination with consultants for effective patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care to pediatric patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency units
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and initial treatment
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist consultants during rounds and procedures
- Handle pediatric emergencies efficiently
- Coordinate with nursing and support staff for smooth patient care
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and infection control guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patient families regarding care and treatment
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBBS / BHMS from a recognized institution
- Valid registration with respective Medical Council
- 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience in pediatrics or duty doctor role
Key Skills:
- Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
- Emergency handling capability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
- Patient-focused and team-oriented approach
Work Schedule:
- Rotational shifts (including night duties)
- Weekly off as per hospital policy
