Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and customer-friendly Lab Technician (Phlebotomist) for our Kannur (BMH Hospital Home Collection) operations. The role involves visiting customers at their preferred location, collecting samples, ensuring proper labeling and packaging, and transporting them to the designated laboratory. The technician will also be responsible for handling payments and maintaining high standards of accuracy and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit customer locations as per the schedule provided in the delivery agent app.
- Collect blood, urine, and other samples as per the test requirements.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and safe handling of samples.
- Collect payments from customers wherever applicable.
- Transport the samples securely to the customer-preferred laboratory as mentioned in the delivery agent app.
- Maintain proper hygiene and follow all safety protocols during sample collection and handling.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the organization in a professional manner.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
- Valid two-wheeler with driving license (mandatory).
- Prior experience in phlebotomy preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle samples with accuracy and care.
- Willingness to travel within Kannur and nearby areas as per assignments.
